הוֹד֣וּ לַיהוָ֣ה כִּי־ט֑וֹב כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

'O give thanks unto Yehovah, for He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever.'
|
|
יֹֽאמַר־נָ֥א יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃
|
ב
|
2
|
So let Israel now say, for His mercy endureth for ever,
|
|
יֹֽאמְרוּ־נָ֥א בֵֽית־אַהֲרֹ֑ן כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃
|
ג
|
3
|
So let the house of Aaron now say, for His mercy endureth for ever.
|
|
יֹֽאמְרוּ־נָ֭א יִרְאֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃
|
ד
|
4
|
So let them now that fear Yehovah say, for His mercy endureth for ever.
|
|
מִֽן־הַ֭מֵּצַ֥ר קָרָ֣אתִי יָּ֑הּ עָנָ֖נִי בַמֶּרְחָ֣ב יָֽהּ׃
|
ה
|
5
|
Out of my straits I called upon Yah; Yah answered me with great enlargement.
|
|
יְהוָ֣ה לִ֭י לֹ֣א אִירָ֑א מַה־יַּעֲשֶׂ֖ה לִ֣י אָדָֽם׃
|
ו
|
6
|
Yehovah is for me; I will not fear; what can man do unto me?
|
|
יְהוָ֣ה לִ֭י בְּעֹזְרָ֑י וַ֝אֲנִ֗י אֶרְאֶ֥ה בְשֹׂנְאָֽי׃
|
ז
|
7
|
Yehovah is for me as my helper; and I shall gaze upon them that hate me.
|
|
ט֗וֹב לַחֲס֥וֹת בַּיהוָ֑ה מִ֝בְּטֹ֗חַ בָּאָדָֽם׃
|
ח
|
8
|
It is better to take refuge in Yehovah than to trust in man.
|
|
ט֗וֹב לַחֲס֥וֹת בַּיהוָ֑ה מִ֝בְּטֹ֗חַ בִּנְדִיבִֽים׃
|
ט
|

|
It is better to take refuge in Yehovah than to trust in princes.
|
|
כָּל־גּוֹיִ֥ם סְבָב֑וּנִי בְּשֵׁ֥ם יְ֝הוָ֗ה כִּ֣י אֲמִילַֽם׃
|
י
|
10
|
All nations compass me about; verily, in the name of Yehovah I will cut them off.
|
|
סַבּ֥וּנִי גַם־סְבָב֑וּנִי בְּשֵׁ֥ם יְ֝הוָ֗ה כִּ֣י אֲמִילַֽם׃
|
יא
|
11
|
They compass me about, yea, they compass me about; verily, in the name of Yehovah I will cut them off.
|
|
סַבּ֤וּנִי כִדְבוֹרִ֗ים דֹּ֭עֲכוּ כְּאֵ֣שׁ קוֹצִ֑ים בְּשֵׁ֥ם יְ֝הוָ֗ה כִּ֣י אֲמִילַֽם׃
|

|
They compass me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns; {N} verily, in the name of Yehovah I will cut them off.
|
|
דַּחֹ֣ה דְחִיתַ֣נִי לִנְפֹּ֑ל וַ֖יהוָ֣ה עֲזָרָֽנִי׃
|

|
13
|
Thou didst thrust sore at me that I might fall; but Yehovah helped me.
|
|
עָזִּ֣י וְזִמְרָ֣ת יָ֑הּ וַֽיְהִי־לִ֝֗י לִֽישׁוּעָֽה׃
|
יד
|
14
|
Yah is my strength and song; and He is become my salvation.
|
|
ק֤וֹל ׀ רִנָּ֬ה וִֽישׁוּעָ֗ה בְּאָהֳלֵ֥י צַדִּיקִ֑ים יְמִ֥ין יְ֝הוָה עֹ֣שָׂה חָֽיִל׃
|

|
The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous; the right hand of Yehovah doeth valiantly.
|
|
יְמִ֣ין יְ֭הוָה רוֹמֵמָ֑ה יְמִ֥ין יְ֝הוָה עֹ֣שָׂה חָֽיִל׃
|
יו
|
16
|
The right hand of Yehovah is exalted; the right hand of Yehovah doeth valiantly.
|
|
לֹֽא אָמ֥וּת כִּי־אֶֽחְיֶ֑ה וַ֝אֲסַפֵּ֗ר מַֽעֲשֵׂ֥י יָֽהּ׃
|
יז
|
17
|
I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of Yah.
|
|
יַסֹּ֣ר יִסְּרַ֣נִּי יָּ֑הּ וְ֝לַמָּ֗וֶת לֹ֣א נְתָנָֽנִי׃
|
יח
|
18
|
Yah hath chastened me sore; but He hath not given me over unto death.
|
|
פִּתְחוּ־לִ֥י שַׁעֲרֵי־צֶ֑דֶק אָֽבֹא־בָ֝ם אוֹדֶ֥ה יָֽהּ׃
|
יט
|
19
|
Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will enter into them, I will give thanks unto Yah.
|
|
זֶֽה־הַשַּׁ֥עַר לַיהוָ֑ה צַ֝דִּיקִ֗ים יָבֹ֥אוּ בֽוֹ׃
|
כ
|
20
|
This is the gate of Yehovah; the righteous shall enter into it.
|
|
א֭וֹדְךָ כִּ֣י עֲנִיתָ֑נִי וַתְּהִי־לִ֝֗י לִֽישׁוּעָֽה׃
|
כא
|
21
|
I will give thanks unto Thee, for Thou hast answered me, and art become my salvation.
|
|
אֶ֭בֶן מָאֲס֣וּ הַבּוֹנִ֑ים הָ֝יְתָ֗ה לְרֹ֣אשׁ פִּנָּֽה׃
|

|
The stone which the builders rejected is become the chief corner-stone.
|
|
מֵאֵ֣ת יְ֭הוָה הָ֣יְתָה זֹּ֑את הִ֖יא נִפְלָ֣את בְּעֵינֵֽינוּ׃
|
כג
|
23
|
This is Yehovah's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
|
|
זֶה־הַ֭יּוֹם עָשָׂ֣ה יְהוָ֑ה נָגִ֖ילָה וְנִשְׂמְחָ֣ה בֽוֹ׃
|
כד
|
24
|
This is the day which Yehovah hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
|
|
אָנָּ֣א יְ֭הוָה הוֹשִׁ֘יעָ֥ה נָּ֑א אָֽנָּ֥א יְ֝הוָ֗ה הַצְלִ֘יחָ֥ה נָּֽא׃
|

|
We beseech Thee, Yehovah, save now! We beseech Thee, Yehovah, make us now to prosper!
|
|
בָּר֣וּךְ הַ֭בָּא בְּשֵׁ֣ם יְהוָ֑ה בֵּ֝רַֽכְנוּכֶ֗ם מִבֵּ֥ית יְהוָֽה׃
|
כו
|
26
|
Blessed be he that cometh in the name of Yehovah; we bless you out of the house of Yehovah.
|
|
אֵ֤ל ׀ יְהוָה֮ וַיָּ֪אֶר לָ֥נוּ אִסְרוּ־חַ֥ג בַּעֲבֹתִ֑ים עַד־קַ֝רְנ֗וֹת הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃
|

|
Yehovah is God, and hath given us light; order the festival procession with boughs, even unto the horns of the altar.
|
|
אֵלִ֣י אַתָּ֣ה וְאוֹדֶ֑ךָּ אֱ֝לֹהַ֗י אֲרוֹמְמֶֽךָּ׃
|

|
28
|
Thou art my God, and I will give thanks unto Thee; Thou art my God, I will exalt Thee.
|
|
הוֹד֣וּ לַיהוָ֣ה כִּי־ט֑וֹב כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃
|

|

|
O give thanks unto Yehovah, for He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever. {P}
