| הַ֥לְלוּ יָ֨הּ ׀ הַ֭לְלוּ עַבְדֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה הַֽ֝לְלוּ אֶת־שֵׁ֥ם יְהוָֽה׃ | א | 1 | Hallelu Yah. {N} Praise, O ye servants of Yehovah, praise the name of Yehovah. |
| יְהִ֤י שֵׁ֣ם יְהוָ֣ה מְבֹרָ֑ךְ מֵֽ֝עַתָּ֗ה וְעַד־עוֹלָֽם׃ | ב | 2 | Blessed be the name of Yehovah from this time forth and for ever. |
| מִמִּזְרַח־שֶׁ֥מֶשׁ עַד־מְבוֹא֑וֹ מְ֝הֻלָּ֗ל שֵׁ֣ם יְהוָֽה׃ | ג | 3 | From the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof Yehovah's name is to be praised. |
| רָ֖ם עַל־כָּל־גּוֹיִ֥ם ׀ יְהוָ֑ה עַ֖ל הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם כְּבוֹדֽוֹ׃ | ד | 4 | Yehovah is high above all nations, His glory is above the heavens. |
| מִ֭י כַּיהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ הַֽמַּגְבִּיהִ֥י לָשָֽׁבֶת׃ | ה | 5 | Who is like unto Yehovah our God, that is enthroned on high, |
| הַֽמַּשְׁפִּילִ֥י לִרְא֑וֹת בַּשָּׁמַ֥יִם וּבָאָֽרֶץ׃ | ו | 6 | That looketh down low upon heaven and upon the earth? |
| מְקִֽימִ֣י מֵעָפָ֣ר דָּ֑ל מֵֽ֝אַשְׁפֹּ֗ת יָרִ֥ים אֶבְיֽוֹן׃ | ז | 7 | Who raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the needy out of the dunghill; |
| לְהוֹשִׁיבִ֥י עִם־נְדִיבִ֑ים עִ֝֗ם נְדִיבֵ֥י עַמּֽוֹ׃ | ח | 8 | That He may set him with princes, even with the princes of His people. |
| מֽוֹשִׁיבִ֨י ׀ עֲקֶ֬רֶת הַבַּ֗יִת אֵֽם־הַבָּנִ֥ים שְׂמֵחָ֗ה הַֽלְלוּ־יָֽהּ׃ | ט | 9 | Who maketh the barren woman to dwell in her house as a joyful mother of children. {N} Hallelu-Yah. |

| בְּצֵ֣את יִ֭שְׂרָאֵל מִמִּצְרָ֑יִם בֵּ֥ית יַ֝עֲקֹ֗ב מֵעַ֥ם לֹעֵֽז׃ | א | 1 | When Israel came forth out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language; |
| הָיְתָ֣ה יְהוּדָ֣ה לְקָדְשׁ֑וֹ יִ֝שְׂרָאֵ֗ל מַמְשְׁלוֹתָֽיו׃ | ב | 2 | Judah became His sanctuary, Israel His dominion. |
| הַיָּ֣ם רָ֭אָה וַיָּנֹ֑ס הַ֝יַּרְדֵּ֗ן יִסֹּ֥ב לְאָחֽוֹר׃ | ג | 3 | The sea saw it, and fled; the Jordan turned backward. |
| הֶֽ֭הָרִים רָקְד֣וּ כְאֵילִ֑ים גְּ֝בָע֗וֹת כִּבְנֵי־צֹֽאן׃ | ד | 4 | The mountains skipped like rams, the hills like young sheep. |
| מַה־לְּךָ֣ הַ֭יָּם כִּ֣י תָנ֑וּס הַ֝יַּרְדֵּ֗ן תִּסֹּ֥ב לְאָחֽוֹר׃ | ה | 5 | What aileth thee, O thou sea, that thou fleest? thou Jordan, that thou turnest backward? |
| הֶֽ֭הָרִים תִּרְקְד֣וּ כְאֵילִ֑ים גְּ֝בָע֗וֹת כִּבְנֵי־צֹֽאן׃ | ו | 6 | Ye mountains, that ye skip like rams; ye hills, like young sheep? |
| מִלִּפְנֵ֣י אָ֭דוֹן ח֣וּלִי אָ֑רֶץ מִ֝לִּפְנֵ֗י אֱל֣וֹהַּ יַעֲקֹֽב׃ | ז | 7 | Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob; |
| הַהֹפְכִ֣י הַצּ֣וּר אֲגַם־מָ֑יִם חַ֝לָּמִ֗ישׁ לְמַעְיְנוֹ־מָֽיִם׃ | ח | 8 | Who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a fountain of waters. |
