| לְדָוִ֗ד בְּשַׁנּוֹת֣וֹ אֶת־טַ֭עְמוֹ לִפְנֵ֣י אֲבִימֶ֑לֶךְ וַֽ֝יְגָרֲשֵׁ֗הוּ וַיֵּלַֽךְ׃ | א | 1 | [A Psalm] of David; when he changed his demeanour before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he departed. |
| אֲבָרֲכָ֣ה אֶת־יְהוָ֣ה בְּכָל־עֵ֑ת תָּ֝מִ֗יד תְּֽהִלָּת֥וֹ בְּפִֽי׃ | ב | 2 | I will bless Yehovah at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. |
| בַּ֭יהוָה תִּתְהַלֵּ֣ל נַפְשִׁ֑י יִשְׁמְע֖וּ עֲנָוִ֣ים וְיִשְׂמָֽחוּ׃ | ג | 3 | My soul shall glory in Yehovah; the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. |
| גַּדְּל֣וּ לַיהוָ֣ה אִתִּ֑י וּנְרוֹמְמָ֖ה שְׁמ֣וֹ יַחְדָּֽו׃ | ד | 4 | O magnify Yehovah with me, and let us exalt His name together. |
| דָּרַ֣שְׁתִּי אֶת־יְהוָ֣ה וְעָנָ֑נִי וּמִכָּל־מְ֝גוּרוֹתַ֗י הִצִּילָֽנִי׃ | ה | 5 | I sought Yehovah, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. |
| הִבִּ֣יטוּ אֵלָ֣יו וְנָהָ֑רוּ וּ֝פְנֵיהֶ֗ם אַל־יֶחְפָּֽרוּ׃ | ו | 6 | They looked unto Him, and were radiant; and their faces shall never be abashed. |
| זֶ֤ה עָנִ֣י קָ֭רָא וַיהוָ֣ה שָׁמֵ֑עַ וּמִכָּל־צָ֝רוֹתָ֗יו הוֹשִׁיעֽוֹ׃ | ז | 7 | This poor man cried, and Yehovah heard, and saved him out of all his troubles. |
| חֹנֶ֤ה מַלְאַךְ־יְהוָ֓ה סָ֘בִ֤יב לִֽירֵאָ֗יו וַֽיְחַלְּצֵֽם׃ | ח | 8 | The angel of Yehovah encampeth round about them that fear Him, and delivereth them. |
| טַעֲמ֣וּ וּ֭רְאוּ כִּי־ט֣וֹב יְהוָ֑ה אַֽשְׁרֵ֥י הַ֝גֶּ֗בֶר יֶחֱסֶה־בּֽוֹ׃ | ט | 9 | O consider and see that Yehovah is good; happy is the man that taketh refuge in Him. |
| יְר֣אוּ אֶת־יְהוָ֣ה קְדֹשָׁ֑יו כִּי־אֵ֥ין מַ֝חְס֗וֹר לִירֵאָֽיו׃ | י | 10 | O fear Yehovah, ye His holy ones; for there is no want to them that fear Him. |
| כְּ֭פִירִים רָשׁ֣וּ וְרָעֵ֑בוּ וְדֹרְשֵׁ֥י יְ֝הוָ֗ה לֹא־יַחְסְר֥וּ כָל־טֽוֹב׃ | יא | 11 | The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger; but they that seek Yehovah want not any good thing. |
| לְֽכוּ־בָ֭נִים שִׁמְעוּ־לִ֑י יִֽרְאַ֥ת יְ֝הוָ֗ה אֲלַמֶּדְכֶֽם׃ | יב | 12 | Come, ye children, hearken unto me; I will teach you the fear of Yehovah. |
| מִֽי־הָ֭אִישׁ הֶחָפֵ֣ץ חַיִּ֑ים אֹהֵ֥ב יָ֝מִ֗ים לִרְא֥וֹת טֽוֹב׃ | יג | 13 | Who is the man that desireth life, and loveth days, that he may see good therein? |
| נְצֹ֣ר לְשׁוֹנְךָ֣ מֵרָ֑ע וּ֝שְׂפָתֶ֗יךָ מִדַּבֵּ֥ר מִרְמָֽה׃ | יד | 14 | Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. |
| ס֣וּר מֵ֭רָע וַעֲשֵׂה־ט֑וֹב בַּקֵּ֖שׁ שָׁל֣וֹם וְרָדְפֵֽהוּ׃ | יה | 15 | Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. |
| עֵינֵ֣י יְ֭הוָה אֶל־צַדִּיקִ֑ים וְ֝אָזְנָ֗יו אֶל־שַׁוְעָתָֽם׃ | יו | 16 | The eyes of Yehovah are toward the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry. |
| פְּנֵ֣י יְ֭הוָה בְּעֹ֣שֵׂי רָ֑ע לְהַכְרִ֖ית מֵאֶ֣רֶץ זִכְרָֽם׃ | יז | 17 | The face of Yehovah is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. |
| צָעֲק֣וּ וַיהוָ֣ה שָׁמֵ֑עַ וּמִכָּל־צָ֝רוֹתָ֗ם הִצִּילָֽם׃ | יח | 18 | They cried, and Yehovah heard, and delivered them out of all their troubles. |
| קָר֣וֹב יְ֭הוָה לְנִשְׁבְּרֵי־לֵ֑ב וְֽאֶת־דַּכְּאֵי־ר֥וּחַ יוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃ | יט | 19 | Yehovah is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, and saveth such as are of a contrite spirit. |
| רַ֭בּוֹת רָע֣וֹת צַדִּ֑יק וּ֝מִכֻּלָּ֗ם יַצִּילֶ֥נּוּ יְהוָֽה׃ | כ | 20 | Many are the ills of the righteous, but Yehovah delivereth him out of them all. |
| שֹׁמֵ֥ר כָּל־עַצְמוֹתָ֑יו אַחַ֥ת מֵ֝הֵ֗נָּה לֹ֣א נִשְׁבָּֽרָה׃ | כא | 21 | He keepeth all his bones; not one of them is broken. |
| תְּמוֹתֵ֣ת רָשָׁ֣ע רָעָ֑ה וְשֹׂנְאֵ֖י צַדִּ֣יק יֶאְשָֽׁמוּ׃ | כב | 22 | Evil shall kill the wicked; and they that hate the righteous shall be held guilty. |
| פּוֹדֶ֣ה יְ֭הוָה נֶ֣פֶשׁ עֲבָדָ֑יו וְלֹ֥א יֶ֝אְשְׁמ֗וּ כָּֽל־הַחֹסִ֥ים בּֽוֹ׃ | כג | 23 | Yehovah redeemeth the soul of His servants; and none of them that take refuge in Him shall be desolate. {P} |
