| לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ לְדָ֫וִ֥ד בַּֽיהוָ֨ה ׀ חָסִ֗יתִי אֵ֭יךְ תֹּאמְר֣וּ לְנַפְשִׁ֑י נ֝֗וּדִי נודו הַרְכֶ֥ם צִפּֽוֹר׃ | א | 1 | For the Leader. [A Psalm] of David. {N} In Yehovah have I taken refuge; how say ye to my soul: 'Flee thou! to your mountain, ye birds'? |
כִּ֤י הִנֵּ֪ה הָרְשָׁעִ֡ים יִדְרְכ֬וּן קֶ֗שֶׁת כּוֹנְנ֣וּ חִצָּ֣ם עַל־יֶ֑תֶר לִיר֥וֹת בְּמוֹ־אֹ֝֗פֶל לְיִשְׁרֵי־לֵֽב׃
|
ב | 2 | For, lo, the wicked bend the bow, they have made ready their arrow upon the string, {N} that they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart. |
| כִּ֣י הַ֭שָּׁתוֹת יֵֽהָרֵס֑וּן צַ֝דִּ֗יק מַה־פָּעָֽל׃ | ג | 3 | When the foundations are destroyed, what hath the righteous wrought? |
| יְהוָ֤ה ׀ בְּֽהֵ֘יכַ֤ל קָדְשׁ֗וֹ יְהוָה֮ בַּשָּׁמַ֪יִם כִּ֫סְא֥וֹ עֵינָ֥יו יֶחֱז֑וּ עַפְעַפָּ֥יו יִ֝בְחֲנ֗וּ בְּנֵ֣י אָדָֽם׃ | ד | 4 | Yehovah is in His holy temple, Yehovah, His throne is in heaven; {N} His eyes behold, His eyelids try, the children of men. |
| יְהוָה֮ צַדִּ֪יק יִ֫בְחָ֥ן וְ֭רָשָׁע וְאֹהֵ֣ב חָמָ֑ס שָֽׂנְאָ֥ה נַפְשֽׁוֹ׃ | ה | 5 | Yehovah trieth the righteous; but the wicked and him that loveth violence His soul hateth. |
| יַמְטֵ֥ר עַל־רְשָׁעִ֗ים פַּ֫חִ֥ים אֵ֣שׁ וְ֭גָפְרִית וְר֥וּחַ זִלְעָפ֗וֹת מְנָ֣ת כּוֹסָֽם׃ | ו | 6 | Upon the wicked He will cause to rain coals; fire and brimstone and burning wind shall be the portion of their cup. |
| כִּֽי־צַדִּ֣יק יְ֭הוָה צְדָק֣וֹת אָהֵ֑ב יָ֝שָׁ֗ר יֶחֱז֥וּ פָנֵֽימוֹ׃ | ז | 7 | For Yehovah is righteous, He loveth righteousness; the upright shall behold His face. {P} |

| הוֹשִׁ֣יעָה יְ֭הוָה כִּי־גָמַ֣ר חָסִ֑יד כִּי־פַ֥סּוּ אֱ֝מוּנִ֗ים מִבְּנֵ֥י אָדָֽם׃ | ב | 2 | Help, Yehovah; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men. |
| שָׁ֤וְא ׀ יְֽדַבְּרוּ֮ אִ֤ישׁ אֶת־רֵ֫עֵ֥הוּ שְׂפַ֥ת חֲלָק֑וֹת בְּלֵ֖ב וָלֵ֣ב יְדַבֵּֽרוּ׃ | ג | 3 | They speak falsehood every one with his neighbour; with flattering lip, and with a double heart, do they speak. |
| יַכְרֵ֣ת יְ֭הוָה כָּל־שִׂפְתֵ֣י חֲלָק֑וֹת לָ֝שׁ֗וֹן מְדַבֶּ֥רֶת גְּדֹלֽוֹת׃ | ד | 4 | May Yehovah cut off all flattering lips, the tongue that speaketh proud things! |
| אֲשֶׁ֤ר אָֽמְר֨וּ ׀ לִלְשֹׁנֵ֣נוּ נַ֭גְבִּיר שְׂפָתֵ֣ינוּ אִתָּ֑נוּ מִ֖י אָד֣וֹן לָֽנוּ׃ | ה | 5 | Who have said: 'Our tongue will we make mighty; our lips are with us: who is lord over us?' |
| מִשֹּׁ֥ד עֲנִיִּים֮ מֵאַנְקַ֪ת אֶבְי֫וֹנִ֥ים עַתָּ֣ה אָ֭קוּם יֹאמַ֣ר יְהוָ֑ה אָשִׁ֥ית בְּ֝יֵ֗שַׁע יָפִ֥יחַֽ לֽוֹ׃ | ו | 6 | 'For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, {N} now will I arise', saith Yehovah; 'I will set him in safety at whom they puff.' |
| אִֽמֲר֣וֹת יְהוָה֮ אֲמָר֪וֹת טְהֹ֫ר֥וֹת כֶּ֣סֶף צָ֭רוּף בַּעֲלִ֣יל לָאָ֑רֶץ מְ֝זֻקָּ֗ק שִׁבְעָתָֽיִם׃ | ז | 7 | The words of Yehovah are pure words, {N} as silver tried in a crucible on the earth, refined seven times. |
| אַתָּֽה־יְהוָ֥ה תִּשְׁמְרֵ֑ם תִּצְּרֶ֓נּוּ ׀ מִן־הַדּ֖וֹר ז֣וּ לְעוֹלָֽם׃ | ח | 8 | Thou wilt keep them, Yehovah; Thou wilt preserve us from this generation for ever. |
| סָבִ֗יב רְשָׁעִ֥ים יִתְהַלָּכ֑וּן כְּרֻ֥ם זֻ֝לּ֗וּת לִבְנֵ֥י אָדָֽם׃ | ט | 9 | The wicked walk on every side, when vileness is exalted among the sons of men. {P} |

| עַד־אָ֣נָה יְ֭הוָה תִּשְׁכָּחֵ֣נִי נֶ֑צַח עַד־אָ֓נָה ׀ תַּסְתִּ֖יר אֶת־פָּנֶ֣יךָ מִמֶּֽנִּי׃ | ב | 2 | How long, Yehovah, wilt Thou forget me for ever? How long wilt Thou hide Thy face from me? |
| עַד־אָ֨נָה אָשִׁ֪ית עֵצ֡וֹת בְּנַפְשִׁ֗י יָג֣וֹן בִּלְבָבִ֣י יוֹמָ֑ם עַד־אָ֓נָה ׀ יָר֖וּם אֹיְבִ֣י עָלָֽי׃ | ג | 3 | How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart by day? {N} How long shall mine enemy be exalted over me? |
| הַבִּ֣יטָֽה עֲ֭נֵנִי יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהָ֑י הָאִ֥ירָה עֵ֝ינַ֗י פֶּן־אִישַׁ֥ן הַמָּֽוֶת׃ | ד | 4 | Behold Thou, and answer me, Yehovah my God; lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death; |
| פֶּן־יֹאמַ֣ר אֹיְבִ֣י יְכָלְתִּ֑יו צָרַ֥י יָ֝גִ֗ילוּ כִּ֣י אֶמּֽוֹט׃ | ה | 5 | Lest mine enemy say: 'I have prevailed against him'; lest mine adversaries rejoice when I am moved. |
| וַאֲנִ֤י ׀ בְּחַסְדְּךָ֣ בָטַחְתִּי֮ יָ֤גֵ֥ל לִבִּ֗י בִּֽישׁוּעָ֫תֶ֥ךָ אָשִׁ֥ירָה לַיהוָ֑ה כִּ֖י גָמַ֣ל עָלָֽי׃ | ו | 6 | But as for me, in Thy mercy do I trust; my heart shall rejoice in Thy salvation. {N} I will sing unto Yehovah, because He hath dealt bountifully with me. {P} |
