בְּךָֽ־יְהוָ֥ה חָסִ֑יתִי אַל־אֵב֥וֹשָׁה לְעוֹלָֽם׃

In Thee, Yehovah, have I taken refuge; let me never be ashamed.
|
בְּצִדְקָתְךָ֗ תַּצִּילֵ֥נִי וּֽתְפַלְּטֵ֑נִי הַטֵּֽה־אֵלַ֥י אָ֝זְנְךָ֗ וְהוֹשִׁיעֵֽנִי׃
|
ב
|

|
Deliver me in Thy righteousness, and rescue me; incline Thine ear unto me, and save me.
|
הֱיֵ֤ה לִ֨י ׀ לְצ֥וּר מָע֡וֹן לָב֗וֹא תָּמִ֗יד צִוִּ֥יתָ לְהוֹשִׁיעֵ֑נִי כִּֽי־סַלְעִ֖י וּמְצוּדָתִ֣י אָֽתָּה׃
|

|
Be Thou to me a sheltering rock, whereunto I may continually resort, which Thou hast appointed to save me; {N} for Thou art my rock and my fortress.
|
אֱֽלֹהַ֗י פַּ֭לְּטֵנִי מִיַּ֣ד רָשָׁ֑ע מִכַּ֖ף מְעַוֵּ֣ל וְחוֹמֵץ׃
|

|

|
O my God, rescue me out of the hand of the wicked, out of the grasp of the unrighteous and ruthless man.
|
כִּֽי־אַתָּ֥ה תִקְוָתִ֑י אֲדֹנָ֥י יְ֝הוִ֗ה מִבְטַחִ֥י מִנְּעוּרָֽי׃
|

|

|
For Thou art my hope; O Lord GOD [Adonai Yehovi], my trust from my youth.
|
עָלֶ֤יךָ ׀ נִסְמַ֬כְתִּי מִבֶּ֗טֶן מִמְּעֵ֣י אִ֭מִּי אַתָּ֣ה גוֹזִ֑י בְּךָ֖ תְהִלָּתִ֣י תָמִֽיד׃
|

|

|
Upon Thee have I stayed myself from birth; Thou art He that took me out of my mother's womb; my praise is continually of Thee.
|
כְּ֭מוֹפֵת הָיִ֣יתִי לְרַבִּ֑ים וְ֝אַתָּ֗ה מַֽחֲסִי־עֹֽז׃
|

|
I am as a wonder unto many; but Thou art my strong refuge.
|
יִמָּ֣לֵא פִ֭י תְּהִלָּתֶ֑ךָ כָּל־הַ֝יּ֗וֹם תִּפְאַרְתֶּֽךָ׃
|
ח
|
8
|
My mouth shall be filled with Thy praise, and with Thy glory all the day.
|
אַֽל־תַּ֭שְׁלִיכֵנִי לְעֵ֣ת זִקְנָ֑ה כִּכְל֥וֹת כֹּ֝חִ֗י אַֽל־תַּעַזְבֵֽנִי׃
|

|
Cast me not off in the time of old age; when my strength faileth, forsake me not.
|
כִּֽי־אָמְר֣וּ אוֹיְבַ֣י לִ֑י וְשֹׁמְרֵ֥י נַ֝פְשִׁ֗י נוֹעֲצ֥וּ יַחְדָּֽו׃

|
For mine enemies speak concerning me, and they that watch for my soul take counsel together,
|
לֵ֭אמֹר אֱלֹהִ֣ים עֲזָב֑וֹ רִֽדְפ֥וּ וְ֝תִפְשׂ֗וּהוּ כִּי־אֵ֥ין מַצִּֽיל׃
|

|
Saying: 'God hath forsaken him; pursue and take him; for there is none to deliver.'
|
אֱ֭לֹהִים אַל־תִּרְחַ֣ק מִמֶּ֑נִּי אֱ֝לֹהַ֗י לְעֶזְרָ֥תִי חֽוּשָׁה חישה׃

|
O God, be not far from me; O my God, make haste to help me.
|
יֵבֹ֣שׁוּ יִכְלוּ֮ שֹׂטְנֵ֪י נַ֫פְשִׁ֥י יַֽעֲט֣וּ חֶ֭רְפָּה וּכְלִמָּ֑ה מְ֝בַקְשֵׁ֗י רָעָתִֽי׃
|
יג
|

|
Let them be ashamed and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and confusion that seek my hurt.
|
וַ֭אֲנִי תָּמִ֣יד אֲיַחֵ֑ל וְ֝הוֹסַפְתִּ֗י עַל־כָּל־תְּהִלָּתֶֽךָ׃
|

|
But as for me, I will hope continually, and will praise Thee yet more and more.
|
פִּ֤י ׀ יְסַפֵּ֬ר צִדְקָתֶ֗ךָ כָּל־הַיּ֥וֹם תְּשׁוּעָתֶ֑ךָ כִּ֤י לֹ֖א יָדַ֣עְתִּי סְפֹרֽוֹת׃

|
15
|
My mouth shall tell of Thy righteousness, and of Thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.
|
אָב֗וֹא בִּ֭גְבֻרוֹת אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה אַזְכִּ֖יר צִדְקָתְךָ֣ לְבַדֶּֽךָ׃
|
יו
|

|
I will come with Thy mighty acts, O Lord GOD [Adonai Yehovi]; I will make mention of Thy righteousness, even of Thine only.
|
אֱֽלֹהִ֗ים לִמַּדְתַּ֥נִי מִנְּעוּרָ֑י וְעַד־הֵ֝֗נָּה אַגִּ֥יד נִפְלְאוֹתֶֽיךָ׃
|
יז
|
17
|
O God, Thou hast taught me from my youth; and until now do I declare Thy wondrous works.
|
וְגַ֤ם עַד־זִקְנָ֨ה ׀ וְשֵׂיבָה֮ אֱלֹהִ֪ים אַֽל־תַּעַ֫זְבֵ֥נִי עַד־אַגִּ֣יד זְרוֹעֲךָ֣ לְד֑וֹר לְכָל־יָ֝ב֗וֹא גְּבוּרָתֶֽךָ׃
|

|
18
|
And even unto old age and hoary hairs, O God, forsake me not; {N} until I have declared Thy strength unto the next generation, Thy might to every one that is to come.
|
וְצִדְקָתְךָ֥ אֱלֹהִ֗ים עַד־מָ֫ר֥וֹם אֲשֶׁר־עָשִׂ֥יתָ גְדֹל֑וֹת אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים מִ֣י כָמֽוֹךָ׃
|
יט
|
19
|
Thy righteousness also, O God, which reacheth unto high heaven; {N} Thou who hast done great things, O God, who is like unto Thee?
|
אֲשֶׁ֤ר הִרְאִיתַ֨נִי הראיתנו ׀ צָר֥וֹת רַבּ֗וֹת וְרָ֫ע֥וֹת תָּשׁ֥וּב תְּחַיֵּ֑ינִי תחיינו וּֽמִתְּהֹמ֥וֹת הָ֝אָ֗רֶץ תָּשׁ֥וּב תַּעֲלֵֽנִי׃

|
Thou, who hast made me to see many and sore troubles, {N} wilt quicken me again, and bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
|
תֶּ֤רֶב ׀ גְּֽדֻלָּתִ֗י וְתִסֹּ֥ב תְּֽנַחֲמֵֽנִי׃

|
Thou wilt increase my greatness, and turn and comfort me.
|
גַּם־אֲנִ֤י ׀ אוֹדְךָ֣ בִכְלִי־נֶבֶל֮ אֲמִתְּךָ֪ אֱלֹ֫הָ֥י אֲזַמְּרָ֣ה לְךָ֣ בְכִנּ֑וֹר קְ֝ד֗וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

|
I also will give thanks unto Thee with the psaltery, even unto Thy truth, O my God; {N} I will sing praises unto Thee with the harp, O Thou Holy One of Israel.
|
תְּרַנֵּ֣נָּ֣ה שְׂ֭פָתַי כִּ֣י אֲזַמְּרָה־לָּ֑ךְ וְ֝נַפְשִׁ֗י אֲשֶׁ֣ר פָּדִֽיתָ׃
|

|
My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing praises unto Thee; and my soul, which Thou hast redeemed.
|
גַּם־לְשׁוֹנִ֗י כָּל־הַ֭יּוֹם תֶּהְגֶּ֣ה צִדְקָתֶ֑ךָ כִּי־בֹ֥שׁוּ כִֽי־חָ֝פְר֗וּ מְבַקְשֵׁ֥י רָעָתִֽי׃

|
My tongue also shall tell of Thy righteousness all the day; {N} for they are ashamed, for they are abashed, that seek my hurt. {P}
