| מִזְמ֗וֹר לְאָ֫סָ֥ף אֱֽלֹהִ֡ים בָּ֤אוּ גוֹיִ֨ם ׀ בְּֽנַחֲלָתֶ֗ךָ טִ֭מְּאוּ אֶת־הֵיכַ֣ל קָדְשֶׁ֑ךָ שָׂ֖מוּ אֶת־יְרוּשָׁלִַ֣ם לְעִיִּֽים׃ | א | 1 | A Psalm of Asaph. {N} O God, the heathen are come into Thine inheritance; they have defiled Thy holy temple; {N} they have made Yerushalam into heaps. |
| נָֽתְנ֡וּ אֶת־נִבְלַ֬ת עֲבָדֶ֗יךָ מַ֭אֲכָל לְע֣וֹף הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם בְּשַׂ֥ר חֲ֝סִידֶ֗יךָ לְחַיְתוֹ־אָֽרֶץ׃ | ב | 2 | They have given the dead bodies of Thy servants to be food unto the fowls of the heaven, {N} the flesh of Thy saints unto the beasts of the earth. |
| שָׁפְכ֬וּ דָמָ֨ם ׀ כַּמַּ֗יִם סְֽבִ֘יב֤וֹת יְֽרוּשָׁלִָ֗ם וְאֵ֣ין קוֹבֵֽר׃ | ג | 3 | They have shed their blood like water round about Yerushalam, with none to bury them. |
| הָיִ֣ינוּ חֶ֭רְפָּה לִשְׁכֵנֵ֑ינוּ לַ֥עַג וָ֝קֶ֗לֶס לִסְבִיבוֹתֵֽינוּ׃ | ד | 4 | We are become a taunt to our neighbours, a scorn and derision to them that are round about us. |
| עַד־מָ֣ה יְ֭הוָה תֶּאֱנַ֣ף לָנֶ֑צַח תִּבְעַ֥ר כְּמוֹ־אֵ֝֗שׁ קִנְאָתֶֽךָ׃ | ה | 5 | How long, Yehovah, wilt Thou be angry for ever? How long will Thy jealousy burn like fire? |
| שְׁפֹ֤ךְ חֲמָתְךָ֨ אֶֽל־הַגּוֹיִם֮ אֲשֶׁ֪ר לֹא־יְדָ֫ע֥וּךָ וְעַ֥ל מַמְלָכ֑וֹת אֲשֶׁ֥ר בְּ֝שִׁמְךָ֗ לֹ֣א קָרָֽאוּ׃ | ו | 6 | Pour out Thy wrath upon the nations that know Thee not, {N} and upon the kingdoms that call not upon Thy name. |
| כִּ֭י אָכַ֣ל אֶֽת־יַעֲקֹ֑ב וְֽאֶת־נָוֵ֥הוּ הֵשַֽׁמּוּ׃ | ז | 7 | For they have devoured Jacob, and laid waste his habitation. |
| אַֽל־תִּזְכָּר־לָנוּ֮ עֲוֺנֹ֪ת רִאשֹׁ֫נִ֥ים מַ֭הֵר יְקַדְּמ֣וּנוּ רַחֲמֶ֑יךָ כִּ֖י דַלּ֣וֹנוּ מְאֹֽד׃ | ח | 8 | Remember not against us the iniquities of our forefathers; {N} let Thy compassions speedily come to meet us; for we are brought very low. |
| עָזְרֵ֤נוּ ׀ אֱלֹ֘הֵ֤י יִשְׁעֵ֗נוּ עַל־דְּבַ֥ר כְּבֽוֹד־שְׁמֶ֑ךָ וְהַצִּילֵ֥נוּ וְכַפֵּ֥ר עַל־חַ֝טֹּאתֵ֗ינוּ לְמַ֣עַן שְׁמֶֽךָ׃ | ט | 9 | Help us, O God of our salvation, for the sake of the glory of Thy name; {N} and deliver us, and forgive our sins, for Thy name's sake. |
| לָ֤מָּה ׀ יֹאמְר֣וּ הַגּוֹיִם֮ אַיֵּ֪ה אֱֽלֹהֵ֫יהֶ֥ם יִוָּדַ֣ע בַּגּוֹיִ֣ם בגיים לְעֵינֵ֑ינוּ נִ֝קְמַ֗ת דַּֽם־עֲבָדֶ֥יךָ הַשָּׁפֽוּךְ׃ | י | 10 | Wherefore should the nations say: 'Where is their God?' {N} Let the avenging of Thy servants' blood that is shed be made known among the nations in our sight. |
| תָּ֤ב֣וֹא לְפָנֶיךָ֮ אֶנְקַ֪ת אָ֫סִ֥יר כְּגֹ֥דֶל זְרוֹעֲךָ֑ ה֝וֹתֵ֗ר בְּנֵ֣י תְמוּתָֽה׃ | יא | 11 | Let the groaning of the prisoner come before Thee; according to the greatness of Thy power set free those that are appointed to death; |
| וְהָ֘שֵׁ֤ב לִשְׁכֵנֵ֣ינוּ שִׁ֭בְעָתַיִם אֶל־חֵיקָ֑ם חֶרְפָּ֘תָ֤ם אֲשֶׁ֖ר חֵרְפ֣וּךָ אֲדֹנָֽי׃ | יב | 12 | And render unto our neighbours sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, {N} wherewith they have reproached Thee, O Lord. |
| וַאֲנַ֤חְנוּ עַמְּךָ֨ ׀ וְצֹ֥אן מַרְעִיתֶךָ֮ נ֤וֹדֶ֥ה לְּךָ֗ לְע֫וֹלָ֥ם לְדֹ֥ר וָדֹ֑ר נְ֝סַפֵּ֗ר תְּהִלָּתֶֽךָ׃ | יג | 13 | So we that are Thy people and the flock of Thy pasture will give Thee thanks for ever; {N} we will tell of Thy praise to all generations. {P} |

| רֹ֘עֵ֤ה יִשְׂרָאֵ֨ל ׀ הַאֲזִ֗ינָה נֹהֵ֣ג כַּצֹּ֣אן יוֹסֵ֑ף יֹשֵׁ֖ב הַכְּרוּבִ֣ים הוֹפִֽיעָה׃ | ב | 2 | Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, Thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; {N} Thou that art enthroned upon the cherubim, shine forth. |
| לִפְנֵ֤י אֶפְרַ֨יִם ׀ וּבִנְיָ֘מִ֤ן וּמְנַשֶּׁ֗ה עוֹרְרָ֥ה אֶת־גְּבֽוּרָתֶ֑ךָ וּלְכָ֖ה לִישֻׁעָ֣תָה לָּֽנוּ׃ | ג | 3 | Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up Thy might, {N} and come to save us. |
| אֱלֹהִ֥ים הֲשִׁיבֵ֑נוּ וְהָאֵ֥ר פָּ֝נֶ֗יךָ וְנִוָּשֵֽׁעָה׃ | ד | 4 | O God, restore us; and cause Thy face to shine, and we shall be saved. |
| יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהִ֣ים צְבָא֑וֹת עַד־מָתַ֥י עָ֝שַׁ֗נְתָּ בִּתְפִלַּ֥ת עַמֶּֽךָ׃ | ה | 5 | Yehovah God of hosts, how long wilt Thou be angry against the prayer of Thy people? |
| הֶ֭אֱכַלְתָּם לֶ֣חֶם דִּמְעָ֑ה וַ֝תַּשְׁקֵ֗מוֹ בִּדְמָע֥וֹת שָׁלִֽישׁ׃ | ו | 6 | Thou hast fed them with the bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in large measure. |
| תְּשִׂימֵ֣נוּ מָ֭דוֹן לִשְׁכֵנֵ֑ינוּ וְ֝אֹיְבֵ֗ינוּ יִלְעֲגוּ־לָֽמוֹ׃ | ז | 7 | Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbours; and our enemies mock as they please. |
| אֱלֹהִ֣ים צְבָא֣וֹת הֲשִׁיבֵ֑נוּ וְהָאֵ֥ר פָּ֝נֶ֗יךָ וְנִוָּשֵֽׁעָה׃ | ח | 8 | O God of hosts, restore us; and cause Thy face to shine, and we shall be saved. |
| גֶּ֭פֶן מִמִּצְרַ֣יִם תַּסִּ֑יעַ תְּגָרֵ֥שׁ גּ֝וֹיִ֗ם וַתִּטָּעֶֽהָ׃ | ט | 9 | Thou didst pluck up a vine out of Egypt; Thou didst drive out the nations, and didst plant it. |
| פִּנִּ֥יתָ לְפָנֶ֑יהָ וַתַּשְׁרֵ֥שׁ שָׁ֝רָשֶׁ֗יהָ וַתְּמַלֵּא־אָֽרֶץ׃ | י | 10 | Thou didst clear a place before it, and it took deep root, and filled the land. |
| כָּסּ֣וּ הָרִ֣ים צִלָּ֑הּ וַ֝עֲנָפֶ֗יהָ אַֽרְזֵי־אֵֽל׃ | יא | 11 | The mountains were covered with the shadow of it, and the mighty cedars with the boughs thereof. |
| תְּשַׁלַּ֣ח קְצִירֶ֣הָ עַד־יָ֑ם וְאֶל־נָ֝הָ֗ר יֽוֹנְקוֹתֶֽיהָ׃ | יב | 12 | She sent out her branches unto the sea, and her shoots unto the River. |
| לָ֭מָּה פָּרַ֣צְתָּ גְדֵרֶ֑יהָ וְ֝אָר֗וּהָ כָּל־עֹ֥בְרֵי דָֽרֶךְ׃ | יג | 13 | Why hast Thou broken down her fences, so that all they that pass by the way do pluck her? |
| יְכַרְסְמֶ֣נָּֽה חֲזִ֣יר מִיָּ֑עַר וְזִ֖יז שָׂדַ֣י יִרְעֶֽנָּה׃ | יד | 14 | The boar out of the wood doth ravage it, that which moveth in the field feedeth on it. |
| אֱלֹהִ֣ים צְבָאוֹת֮ שֽׁ֫וּב־נָ֥א הַבֵּ֣ט מִשָּׁמַ֣יִם וּרְאֵ֑ה וּ֝פְקֹ֗ד גֶּ֣פֶן זֹֽאת׃ | יה | 15 | O God of hosts, return, we beseech Thee; {N} look from heaven, and behold, and be mindful of this vine, |
| וְ֭כַנָּה אֲשֶׁר־נָטְעָ֣ה יְמִינֶ֑ךָ וְעַל־בֵּ֝֗ן אִמַּ֥צְתָּה לָּֽךְ׃ | יו | 16 | And of the stock which Thy right hand hath planted, and the branch that Thou madest strong for Thyself. |
| שְׂרֻפָ֣ה בָאֵ֣שׁ כְּסוּחָ֑ה מִגַּעֲרַ֖ת פָּנֶ֣יךָ יֹאבֵֽדוּ׃ | יז | 17 | It is burned with fire, it is cut down; they perish at the rebuke of Thy countenance. |
| תְּֽהִי־יָ֭דְךָ עַל־אִ֣ישׁ יְמִינֶ֑ךָ עַל־בֶּן־אָ֝דָ֗ם אִמַּ֥צְתָּ לָּֽךְ׃ | יח | 18 | Let Thy hand be upon the man of Thy right hand, upon the son of man whom Thou madest strong for Thyself. |
| וְלֹא־נָס֥וֹג מִמֶּ֑ךָּ תְּ֝חַיֵּ֗נוּ וּבְשִׁמְךָ֥ נִקְרָֽא׃ | יט | 19 | So shall we not turn back from Thee; quicken Thou us, and we will call upon Thy name. |
| יְה֘וָ֤ה אֱלֹהִ֣ים צְבָא֣וֹת הֲשִׁיבֵ֑נוּ הָאֵ֥ר פָּ֝נֶ֗יךָ וְנִוָּשֵֽׁעָה׃ | כ | 20 | Yehovah God of hosts, restore us; cause Thy face to shine, and we shall be saved. {P} |
